Had a fab day out yesterday at the Swiss Garden at Shuttleworth (fab apart from dropping my 100mm macro lens, the memory of which still brings me out in a cold sweat). It’s a pretty little gem of a place that’s only just been reopened after extensive renovation, and it’s small enough to walk around easily without feeling you need to have taken a course in orienteering first. I loved the peacocks that were wandering around (you’ll hear them before you see them!) and got a few shots of one in the Indian Kiosk. There are woods, quaint bridges and ponds, a sculpture trail, and follies that are just asking to be photographed. For more information on the garden take a look the website by clicking here.
